Abstract

The invention provides a traditional Chinese medicine composition for relieving irritation of epoxy ethanol and polyhydric alcohols. The traditional Chinese medicine composition comprises the following raw material medicines: radix sophorae flavescentis, radix saposhnikoviae, tribulus terrestris and hovenia dulcis. The invention further provides a corresponding preparation method. The preparationmethod comprises the following steps: mixing the four raw materials according to a ratio, and carrying out methods of extraction, filtration and redissolving, thereby obtaining the traditional Chinesemedicine composition which is capable of effectively relieving adverse reactions of skin affected by phenoxyethanol and polyhydric alcohol substances. Due to scientific matching of the four components, namely the radix sophorae flavescentis, the radix saposhnikoviae, the tribulus terrestris and the hovenia dulcis, the traditional Chinese medicine composition is capable of remarkably reducing burning heat sensation and pricking caused by preservatives (such as phenoxyethanol) and polyhydric alcohol substances (such as pentanediol, hexanediol and octylene glycol) in cosmetics upon skin, and hasa synergetic preservation effect on phenoxyethanol, thereby reducing the amount of the phenoxyethanol preservative to the maximum extent.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a traditional Chinese medicine composition, in particular to a traditional Chinese medicine composition for alleviating the stimulation of epoxyethanol and polyhydric alcohol. Background technique [0002] In recent years, as international and domestic preservative regulations have become more and more stringent, fewer and fewer preservatives can be used in cosmetics. Phenoxyethanol (PE), as a non-formaldehyde releaser, has become the choice of many brands . According to incomplete statistics from a third party, phenoxyethanol is the second most commonly used preservative, accounting for more than 1 / 3 of it. However, when the amount of phenoxyethanol added in cosmetics exceeds a certain ratio, it will cause uncomfortable skin reactions, such as stinging and burning, especially when it acts on sensitive skin. Its mechanism of action is that phenoxyethanol can activate TRPV1 channels on skin cells, thereby causing people to fee...
