Embodiment Construction

[0045]The specific implementation manners of the present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and embodiments. The following examples are used to illustrate the present invention, but are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention.

[0046] SDN first originated from the GENI project of Stanford University in the United States. The R&D team with Professor Nick McKeown as the core proposed the concept of OpenFlow for the experimental innovation of campus networks. OpenFlow is a new network protocol that can bring programmable features to the network. This is the prototype of SDN.

[0047] SDN separates the network configuration plane from the embedded nodes, replaces the traditional system-based embedded control plane with an open software mode control plane, and automatically controls the entire network by a software-driven central control node. Using SDN-based OpenFlow technology to separate the contro...

Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a SDN-based publishing and subscribing system and a message forwarding method. The system comprises an interface layer, a routing layer and a forwarding layer;the interface layer is used for providing a publishing interface and a subscribing interface, the publishing interface is used for providing a publishing access point for calling the system for a user, and the subscribing interface is used for providing a subscribing access point for the user; the routing layer is used for, according to a network topology information, calculating an optimal pathfrom a publishing node to a subscribing node through an optimal path algorithm based on a Steiner tree; and the forwarding layer is used for, according to information of a flow table, matching a publishing message or a subscribing message with message queues of different priorities and forwarding the message, and dynamically allocate a queue bandwidth according to a queue bandwidth adjustment algorithm. In the embodiment of the invention, a feature of separation of control and forwarding of the SDN can be applied to the publishing and subscribing system, based on the advantages of the SDN, rapid forwarding of the publishing and subscribing messages is realized, a real-time property is improved, and meanwhile, a QoS (Quality of Service) and a resource utilization ate are improved.

Description

technical field [0001] Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of communication technologies, and more specifically, relate to an SDN-based publish-subscribe system and message forwarding method. Background technique [0002] With the continuous development of information technology, the public's demand for information continues to rise, and the publish-subscribe system plays an increasingly important role in practical applications. Publish-subscribe (publish–subscribe) is a message dissemination mode. The sender (publisher) of the message will not directly send the message to a specific receiver (subscriber), but will classify the published message by topic, and the Messages with topics are delivered to network nodes without any knowledge of subscribers (if any). Likewise, a Subscriber can express interest in one or more categories and only receive messages of interest, without any knowledge of the Publisher (if any). In this way, the degree of coupling b...
