Abstract

The present invention relates to a multi-stage hybrid powertrain for a motor vehicle, having an input stage, also comprising: a stage input shaft coupleable to an internal combustion engine, a stage output shaft coupled to a subsequent stage, an electric machine with a base fixed stator and rotatably mounted rotor radially inside the stator, and a planetary gear set having a sun, a ring gear and aplanet carrier on which a plurality of planets are rotatably supported, which on the one hand mesh with the sun and on the other hand mesh with the ring gear, wherein the sun is coupled to the rotor,the ring gear is coupled to the stage input shaft and the planet carrier is coupled to the stage output shaft. The invention is characterized in that a first clutch coupling the rotor to the sun is arranged axially adjacent to the planetary gear set, a second clutch coupling the rotor to the stage output shaft is arranged axially adjacent to the first clutch, and the planetary gear set and the clutches are disposed both radially and axially within the rotor.
