Abstract

The invention provides an information processing device for automatically reading a dial plate. The device comprises the dial plate, a camera device, a transmitter, a receiver and a server. The invention further provides a method based on the information processing device for automatically reading the dial plate. The method comprises the following steps: the camera device shoots to-be-read information displayed on the dial plate, and generates a picture; the transmitter sends the picture; the receiver receives the picture; a central processing chip analyzes and processes the picture to extractthe information in the picture; and a memory stores the information extracted by the central processing chip. Compared with related art, the information processing device can avoid the waste of changing an intelligent instrument, and also realize remote reading, thereby saving labor and improving the working efficiency.
