Abstract

Light materials are used as raw materials; and a production process is improved to produce the light particle board. Based on a traditional particle board production process, the core layer shavings are changed from common wood shavings to the corn straw shavings and the pennisetum alopecuroides straw shavings with lower density and bulk density; MDI resins are added in a core layer; and the use level of MUF resins is reduced to reduce influence on the board density by adhesive and to improve overall board physical performances.
