Abstract

The module includes a sequential control unit and an SPI master controller, wherein the sequential control unit is connected with the ATX power supply, the ATX power supply provides standby voltage (5VSB) for the sequential control unit to serve as the working voltage of the reliable platform control module, and according to the configuration of the sequential control unit, when a power-on signal is received from the SPI master controller, the ATX power supply is instructed to power on an ATX power supply module of a computer mainboard; the SPI master controller is connected with a BIOS flash memory of a computer mainboard through an SPI bus and supplies power to the BIOS flash memory, and according to the configuration of the SPI master controller, after the reliable platform control module is powered on, BIOS codes are read from the BIOS flash memory, hashed values of the BIOS codes are generated, the hashed values are compared with referential hashed values, and then the power-on signal is sent to the sequential control unit under the circumstance that the hashed values are equal to the referential hashed values.
