The spacing detecting device comprises a controller arranged on the subway train, a radar detection system, a travelling state system, a display, an alarming system, a power supply system and a signal receiving-transmitting device, wherein the radar detection system, the travelling state system, the display, an alarming system, the power supply system and the signal receiving-transmitting device are connected with the controller. The signal receiving-transmitting device is connected with the controller and used for transferring information with a signal receiving-transmitting device on an adjacent subway train. The radar detection system comprises a radar detector. The travelling state system comprises one or more train speed sensors. The display is a touch display screen. The alarming system comprises two voice alerters, two buzzers and a subway train outline marker lamp. The power supply system comprises a control switch connected with the controller, and a subway-train-mounted power supply connected with the control switch. The controller is further connected with a speed reducing system and a brake system of the subway train. According to the system, the situation that in the prior art, the subway train spacing cannot be effectively detected, and consequently traffic accidents such as rear-end collision occurs is avoided.
