Abstract

The invention provides a telephone conference control system and a control method thereof. The system is used for a plurality of communication terminals to carry out a telephone conference. The system comprises a plurality of volume detection units, wherein each communication terminal is connected with one volume detection unit, and the volume detection unit detects the volume of voice information generated by the communication terminal; and a control unit, wherein the control unit is connected with the volume detection units and the communication terminals, the control unit presets that each communication terminal is equipped with an independent access volume threshold value, and the control unit only accesses the voice information of which volume is greater than or equal to the access volume threshold value to the telephone conference. The control unit also presets that each communication terminal is equipped with an independent listening volume threshold value for each of the other communication terminals. The control unit only transmits the voice information of which volume is greater than or equal to the preset listening volume threshold value to the communication terminals. According to the system and the method, the telephone conference management can be carried out conveniently, the environment noise in the telephone conference is reduced, and a silence or listening forbidding function can be realized with pertinence.
