Abstract

The invention relates to a pavement crack disease detection system based on image processing. The device is composed of an on-line data acquisition system and an off-line data analysis system. The on-line data acquisition system is mainly composed of a pavement image acquisition system, a ground penetrating radar detection system, a laser detection system and a GPS (Global Positioning System). During detection, pavement images can be acquired through the image acquisition system, roadbed and pavement layer data is acquired through the ground penetrating radar detection system, and parameters, such as pavement deflection and flatness, are obtained through the laser detection system. The off-line data analysis system is mainly composed of a pavement image processing system, a roadbed disease analysis system, a roadbed and pavement management system and a roadbed and pavement information database. The two systems realize the detection tasks of pavement crack diseases and roadbed and pavement layer diseases; the roadbed and pavement management system realizes the summarizing and processing of the roadbed and pavement information as well as outputs roadbed and pavement condition reports and maintenance reports; and the roadbed and pavement information database serves as an organization and storage medium of the data.
