Abstract

The invention provides a method and device for processing connection between a terminal and a network, wherein the method comprises the steps that: a base station receives a first request message carrying terminal identification information and sent by the terminal, wherein the terminal identification information is used for indicating the terminal identifier of the terminal; the first request message is used for requesting for the base station to recover connection between the terminal and the network; the base station searches contextual information matched with the terminal identification information; and, when searching the contextual information, the base station recovers connection with the terminal by using the contextual information.
