Abstract

The invention discloses a screen brightness adjustment method and device, applied to an intelligent terminal of which the lower part of the screen is provided with an infrared sensor array consisting of multiple infrared sensors. The device comprises a detection module, a matching module, a track recording module, a track synthesis module and a brightness adjustment module, wherein the detection module is used for real-timely detecting the fingers of a user close to an effective range of the terminal screen and obtaining the fingerprint information of the fingers through the infrared sensors; the matching module is used for matching the fingerprint information with preset fingerprints; the track recording module is used for setting track identification values of the infrared sensors that obtain the fingerprint information as preset values when the fingerprint information is successfully matched; the track synthesis module is used for collecting all the infrared sensors of which the track identification values are the preset values to obtain a moving track of the fingers; and the brightness adjustment module is used for adjusting the brightness of the terminal screen based on a preset rule when the moving track of the fingers is matched with a preset track template. Thereby, the user can adjust the brightness of the screen only through a remote finger sliding operation, no complex operation is required, and the operating speed and the experience degree of the user can be increased.
