Abstract

The invention discloses an organic light emitting display device and a driving method thereof. The organic light emitting display device comprises a plurality of pixels, a data driver and a pre-charging circuit, wherein the plurality of pixels comprise a plurality of organic light emitting diodes, and a plurality of driving transistors used for supplying driving currents to the organic light emitting diodes; the data driver is used for transmitting corresponding data signals to the plurality of pixels by means of a plurality of data lines; the pre-charging circuit is used for pre-charging a voltage signal reserved at a previous timing sequence to an initial voltage, and the initial voltage is less than or equal to the minimum voltage of the data signals; and the pre-charging circuit acts before the data driver transmit the corresponding data signals to the plurality of pixels, so as to pre-charge the voltage signals reserved at the previous timing sequence by the plurality of pixels to be less than or equal to the minimum voltage of the data signals. The organic light emitting display device and the driving method thereof have the effects of being simple in timing sequence design, and reducing the power consumption of the data driver.
