Embodiment Construction

[0094] The method proposed by the present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and embodiments.

[0095] Such as figure 1 As shown, it is a subdivision surface reconstruction algorithm based on variational framework feature perception and the algorithm flow chart of Embodiment 1 of the present invention; figure 1 As can be seen, the specific implementation steps of the present invention are as follows:

[0096] Step A: Preprocess the input model to obtain the initial control grid Suppose the input model is denoted as S 0 , and its vertex set is recorded as v={v 1 ,v 2 ,...,v n};

[0097] If the input model is not a triangular mesh, the first mesh reconstruction is performed and transformed into a triangular mesh model; the general model contains noise, and the noise removal process is performed on the model;

[0098] For the model after denoising, use the method of quadratic error measurement to simplify to obtain th...

Abstract

A subdivision surface reconstruction method based on variational framework feature perception belongs to the digital geometry processing and the surface modeling field, and comprises the steps of firstly, according to the features of a model, such as the sharp angles, the sharp edges, the semi-sharp edges, etc., setting a sharpness for each edge of a control mesh, and providing a subdivision surface new rule of the feature perception; then according to the new rule, establishing a subdivision model of the subdivision surface reconstruction based on a variational framework and the L1-norm; finally, utilizing an augmented Lagrangian method and a particle swarm optimization method to iterate and solve the vertex position and the sharpness of the control mesh of a subdivision surface, thereby obtaining the reconstructed subdivision surface preserving the features. Compared with the conventional method, the subdivision surface reconstruction method based on the variational feature perception provided by the present invention has the obvious advantages of preserving the features of the surface, such as the sharp features, the semi-sharp features, etc., can process the reconstruction problem of the input meshes with the noise of different scales, and has the wide application prospect on the surface reconstruction.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a feature-aware subdivision surface reconstruction method based on a variational method. The invention discloses a frame feature-aware subdivision surface reconstruction method, which belongs to the fields of digital geometry processing and surface modeling. Background technique [0002] Subdivision surfaces are used in computer graphics to generate smooth surfaces from arbitrary meshes. Compared with rational B-splines (NURBS), it has the advantages of being suitable for arbitrary topological structures, numerically stable, easy to implement, and locally continuous control. Therefore, it has a wide range of applications in the fields of animation, entertainment, virtual reality and industrial manufacturing, and the subdivision surface is also integrated into the MPEG4 standard. [0003] How to reconstruct the subdivision surface with preserved features is an important criterion for subdivision surface reconstruction, and the...
