The invention discloses a variable-frequency air conditioner control method which comprises the following steps: powering on an air conditioner and enabling the air conditioner to run in the refrigeration mode; when the air conditioner is under the room temperature PID control, acquiring the current indoor temperature detected by an indoor temperature sensor and taking the acquired current indoor temperature as first room temperature; taking the difference between the first indoor temperature and the set compensation temperature as second indoor temperature; calculating the temperature difference between the second indoor temperature and the current indoor target temperature to acquire indoor temperature; carrying out indoor temperature PID calculation according to the indoor temperature, so as to acquire first target frequency; comparing the second indoor temperature with the set comfortable temperature; according to the comparison result, determining whether the room temperature PID control or the dual PID control is executed, wherein the dual PID control comprises the coil temperature PID control; and determining the coil pipe target temperature adopted in the coil temperature PID control according to the real-time indoor humidity. Through application of the variable-frequency air conditioner control method disclosed by the invention, both the indoor temperature regulation comfort and the low-power-consumption energy saving property of the air conditioner can be taken into account, thereby achieving the more reasonable control.
