Problems solved by technology

If the heat leakage of the magnet is large, it is necessary to increase the cooling power or passively volatilize the liquid helium to ensure the low temperature operating environment of the superconducting coil, both of which will increase the operation and maintenance costs of the equipment

Abstract

The invention discloses a low-temperature superconducting magnet which comprises a Dewar type container filled with liquid helium, a superconducting winding located in the Dewar type container, and a magnetic material-containing refrigerating machine partly located in the Dewar type container. The Dewar type container comprises an inner shell body, an outer shell body arranged outside the inner shell body, and a cold shield placed between the inner shell body and the outer shell body. The refrigerating machine is partly arranged between the outer shell body and the inner shell body and also comprises a magnetic shielding cover located around a magnetic material motion area in the refrigerating machine. The magnetic shielding cover is provided with at least two layers of shielding bodies with a gap between. According to the low-temperature superconducting magnet, the interference of the magnetic field of the magnetic material in the refrigerating machine on the magnetic field of the superconducting magnet can be effectively reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of superconducting technology, in particular to a low-temperature superconducting magnet. Background technique [0002] The low-temperature superconducting magnet system can provide a magnetic field with high stability, high uniformity, and high field strength. It is the preferred magnet system for high-performance MRI (high-performance medical nuclear magnetic resonance imager) and other related devices. The superconducting wire windings of low-temperature superconducting magnets usually require a very low temperature working environment. Typically, this cryogenic working environment is provided by a vessel filled with a cryogenic liquid, usually liquid helium, in which the superconducting wire windings are immersed. Since cryogenic liquids, especially liquid helium, are expensive, in order to reduce the loss caused by vaporization and evaporation of cryogenic liquids, refrigerators are usually used for cooling. ...
