Abstract

The invention relates to a hybrid breeding method of a quality pig. The hybrid breeding method of the quality pig comprises the following steps: 1) a Zhejiang middle white pig containing Jinhua pig blood acts as a female parent and a Jiaxin black pig acts as a male parent, and a Jiaxin-Zhejiang binary hybrid pig is bred; and 2) the Jiaxin-Zhejiang binary hybrid pig acts as a female parent and a Berkshire pig acts as a male parent, and a Berkshire-Jiaxin-Zhejiang three-way hybrid pig is bred. With the adoption of the hybrid breeding method, a growth rate and a meat factor of three-way hybrid offspring are increased by 5-10% than those of Jiaxin-Zhejiang binary hybrid offspring, particularly an eye muscle area is increased by 30%; the amplitude of variation in meat flavor is little, particularly the intramuscular fat content is remained at 3-4% (ideal meat level); the marbling characteristic is very obvious; and the meat quality characteristics of the Berkshire pig and the domestic local pig are combined.
