Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for configuration of channel state information reference signals. The method comprises the following steps: A, generating at least three second-class channel state information reference signal configurations supporting a 12 port or a 16 port; and B, distributing the second-class channel state information reference signal configurations to at least one of the three adjacent districts belonging to the base station. Through combination of the current CSI-RS configuration, the method for configuration of channel state information reference signals constructs the CSI-RS configuration supporting the 12 and 16 ports so as to improve the system performance of the 3D-MIMO system. The configuration hopping can reduce the generation probability of the resource conflict. The present invention further provides the CSI-RS transmission supporting the 12 and 16 ports in the DwPTS frame for the TDD system.
