The liquid metal magnetohydrodynamics generation system comprises the single-loop travelling-wave thermoacoustic engine (1), wherein a U-shaped electrical insulation pipeline is arranged between a resonatron (16) and a containing cavity (17) of the single-loop travelling-wave thermoacoustic engine (1); the electrical insulation pipeline is full of a liquid metal working medium; and a liquid metal magnetohydrodynamics generator (2) is arranged in the electrical insulation pipeline. Compared with the existing thermoacoustic driven magnetohydrodynamics generation system, the thermoacoustic engine in the liquid metal magnetohydrodynamics generation system driven by the single-loop travelling-wave thermoacoustic engine is small in size, light in weight, high in energy density and low in onset and operating temperature, and is more suitable for utilization of heat sources in medium and low temperature zones; and in addition, the output characteristic of the generation system is well improved, so that demands of power transmission and power utilization equipment can be well met.
