Abstract

The invention relates to an NAS data backup method and NAS data file fine-grained browse recovery method based on an NDMP protocol. According to the backup method, data in an NAS device is backed up to a backup integrated machine through the NDMP protocol. A DMA module and a first NDMP server are operated in the backup integrated machine. A second NDMP server is operated in the NAS device. The backup method comprises the steps of A1), establishing control connection between the DMA module and the first NDMP server, and between the DMA module and the second NDMP server, and data connection between the first NDMP server and the second NDMP server; A2), sending a backup instruction to the second NDMP server and sending a recovery instruction to the first NDMP server by the DMA module; and A3), receiving NDMP data stream by the first NDMP server, wherein the NDMP data stream is sent by the second NDMP server, writing a file object obtained after the NDMP data stream is analyzed into an object file system, thereby finishing backup. Compared with the prior art, the methods have the advantage of facilitating uniform storage and management of the data.
