Abstract

The communication method comprises: the base station performs beam forming by employing massive MIMO to form a plurality of beams; and the base station sends channel state information reference signals CSI-RS through the beams after beam forming, and the channel state information reference signals are multiplexed between different beams. According to the method, the base station, and the system, time frequency resources occupied by the channel state information reference signals are reduced, and the cost of the channel state information reference signals is lowered.
