The method includes the following steps: marking paper; manually giving score for subjective questions; scanning the paper; conducting OMR identification on the objective questions, conducting OCR identification on the subjective questions; after conducting OMR identification on the objective questions, successively conducting filling point positioning, light emitting processing, analyzing and mark processing; after conducting the OCR identification on the subjective questions, successively conducting image identification, image pre-processing, text cutting, feature extraction, single component identification, word post-processing, and character proofreading; and counting the scores of the objective questions and subjective questions. According to the invention, the method, on the basis of OMR optical mark identification technology, innovatively applies the OCR optical character identification technology, and converts scoring mark of a teacher to a corresponding computer value in an accurate manner, so that the method effectively saves marking traces of the teacher while conventional online paper marking systems can not.
