Problems solved by technology

However, in this case, there arises a problem that the overall size of the combination of the card feeding device of the first prior art is excessively increased, and the manufacturing cost is also increased.
This problem can be solved if the total amount of cards that can be stored in the card stacker is increased; however, another problem that the size of the card stacker is excessively increased

Embodiment Construction

[0088] Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below while referring to the accompanying drawings.

[0089] figure 1 A card feeding device 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown. This apparatus 1 includes: a card supply device 10 that separates a desired card C from a card stack in which a plurality of cards C are stacked up and down in a row and supplies the thus separated card C; and card holding and feeding A device 20 which temporarily holds the card C supplied from the card supply device 10 and selectively feeds the thus held card C along a predetermined feeding direction CD.

[0090] card supply device

[0091] First, the following will refer to figure 2 The card supply device 10 is explained. The device 10 includes: a card storage section 11 for storing a plurality of cards C in a stacked form up and down; It is selectively delivered toward the supply port 13 of the device 10 .

Abstract

A card feeding apparatus realizes random and selective feeding of cards of different types or kinds. This apparatus includes a card supplying device, a card holding and feeding device, and a controller. The card holding and feeding device includes a table set having tables on which cards from the card supplying device are held, a table set supporting structure (e.g., a frame), a table set moving device (e.g., a lifting mechanism), and a card conveying device that conveys cards held on the tables. In response to a card feeding signal, the table set supporting structure is temporarily stopped using the table set moving device such that a target table designated from the tables by the said signal is located at the card conveying position, and the card holding and feeding device is activated, thereby feeding a card on the target table by the card conveying device.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a card feeding apparatus, and more particularly, to a card feeding apparatus having a function of feeding cards from a stack onto corresponding trays and feeding cards mounted on the corresponding trays toward the outside one by one. [0002] The invention is preferably applicable to random and selective feeding of different types or classes of cards. [0003] The term "card" used in this specification generally refers to card-like items, and the card-like items include not only cards such as telephone cards, prepaid cards, character cards, portrait photographs, IC (integrated circuit) Cards, magnetic stripe cards (for example, credit cards and bank cards) and barcode cards, etc., but also other thin plate-shaped articles made of paper, plastic, etc. having a thickness equal to or greater than these conventional cards. Background technique [0004] Conventionally, as the first prior art of the present invention, the fo...
