Abstract

The invention discloses a readability enhancing method and device, and belongs to the technical field of displaying. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining layer characteristic information of at least one layer corresponding to display content; identifying the layer type of each layer according to the layer characteristic information; selecting a readability enhancing mode corresponding to the layer type for each layer, and enhancing the layer by using the readability enhancing mode; displaying the display content formed by superposing the enhanced layers. The readability enhancing method and device disclosed by the invention solve the problem that the appearance degrees of user interface (UI) layers are reduced when the display content of frames in a terminal uses a same readability enhancing mode; different layer types of the frame layers in the terminal use different readability enhancing modes, so that the layers of different layer types can obtain better readability to enhance the final display effect of the display content on the whole.
