preparation example Construction

[0029] One, the preparation of free cutting steel of the present invention

[0030] The main chemical composition of natural stibnite is Sb 2 S 3 , the content generally exceeds 98%. According to the literature, when the stibnite ore is formed, due to mechanical or physical and chemical effects, it is often mixed with a small amount of dioxide, silicon, iron, tin, arsenic, germanium, copper, lead, zinc, nickel and cobalt and other impurities, the impurity content is less than 1%.

Embodiment 1

[0032] Add 0.4% of stibnite to the 100kg vacuum induction furnace. The adding time of stibnite is after the molten steel is deoxidized and before alloying. When adding stibnite, the oxygen activity of molten steel is 120×10 -6 , the addition of stibnite is 0.4kg, and 0.4kg of ferrous sulfide is added.

Embodiment 2

[0034] Add 0.2% of stibnite to the 100kg vacuum induction furnace. The time to add stibnite is after the molten steel is deoxidized and before alloying. When adding stibnite, the oxygen activity of molten steel is 120×10 -6 , the addition of stibnite is 0.2kg, adding 0.1kg of metal antimony and 0.5kg of ferrous sulfide.

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for producing free cutting steel by using stibnite, and belongs to the field of steel and iron metallurgy and metal materials. The method is to add the stibnite of 0.01-0.5% of the total quantity of molten steel in the refining process of a ladle furnace; the adding time of the stibnite in the refining process is to add the stibnite in a ladle after deoxidation of the molten steel and before alloying; the adding condition is that the oxygen activity of the deoxidized molten steel is not higher than 120*10-6; when the stibnite is added, the temperature of the molten steel in the ladle furnace is higher than the temperature of the molten steel not added with the stibnite by 30-50 DEG C; and when the stibnite is added in the molten steel without sufficient antimony and sulfur contents, antimony metal and ferrous sulfide are replenished. The method uses the stibnite as a beneficial alloy material of the free cutting steel; the antimony and sulfur utilization rates in the stibnite both reach above 95%; the mineral resources are reasonably used; the stibnite smelting environment pollution problem is solved; and the production cost of the free cutting steel is reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of iron and steel metallurgy and metal materials, and in particular relates to a method for producing free-cutting steel by using stibnite. Background technique [0002] Antimony stibnite is a sulfide of antimony (Sb 2 S 3 ) mineral, containing 71.69% antimony, is the most important ore mineral of antimony. China is the world's leading producer of antimony, and its reserves rank first in the world. Hunan, Guizhou, Guangxi, Guangdong, Yunnan and other provinces have antimony ore deposits, especially the large-scale and high-quality antimony ore reserves in Xinhua tin mine in Hunan are famous all over the world. [0003] In modern industry, stibnite is mainly used for the extraction of metal antimony. In the production of non-ferrous metals in my country, the low-concentration sulfur dioxide flue gas produced in the smelting process of sulfide ore has always been one of the important sources of acid rain in my count...
