Problems solved by technology

However, the use of general cameras to collect face data is affected by changes in lighting, occlusion, posture, expression, etc., especially in subway stations where there is a lot of traffic, partial occlusion of faces has become an inevitable problem
Moreover, the recognition accuracy of single-mode face recognition is also significantly lower than that of the fusion of multiple pattern recognition methods including face recognition.

Abstract

The invention discloses an escaped prisoner recognition method based on a Kinect sensor. Human body skeleton information and facial feature information of prisoners are acquired through the Kinect sensor, and a prisoner feature information database is established; when existence of a human body within the monitoring range is detected, skeleton tracking is automatically performed, the human body skeleton information of the detected person is calculated by extracting human body joint information, based on which matching with the human body skeleton information in the prisoner feature information database is performed, and face recognition is performed if matching is successful; and prompting alarm is emitted if the face recognition result indicates that matching is successful. The escaped prisoner recognition method is different from the conventional escaped prisoner recognition systems, human body three-dimensional data are acquired by adopting the Kinect sensor, and escaped prisoner recognition is performed through integration of the skeleton information and the three-dimensional facial features so that precision and applicability of the conventional escaped prisoner recognition systems based on two-dimensional images can be enhanced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the fields of computer vision and pattern recognition, in particular to a fugitive recognition method based on Kinect-based face recognition and skeleton recognition. Background technique [0002] With the development of the economy, national security has increasingly become a powerful guarantee for the healthy and sustainable development of society. Today, some criminals are still fleeing, especially the existence of criminals many times, which seriously threatens the safety of people's lives and property. Therefore, it is particularly important to implement effective monitoring and identification of these fugitives. [0003] On June 1, 2009, Kinect, which was first publicly released at the E3 Game Show, was called ProjectNatal at the time. Kinect integrates many advanced visual technologies and Kinect has received unanimous praise from academia and game circles. The Kinect sensor combines sound, light, electricity and mech...
