Abstract

The invention discloses a mobile terminal projection method and system, and terminal equipment. The method is applied to a mobile terminal and comprises the following steps: the mobile terminal establishes communication connection with external equipment; the mobile terminal regulates screen split, and determines a screen projection area; and according to the determined screen projection area, screen data transmission with the external equipment is carried out. On the basis of WiFi (Wireless Fidelity) Display and screen split functions in traditional mobile equipment, a custom projection area can be quickly set for projection side equipment to achieve a purpose that a desktop area which needs to be shared to other equipment is quickly selected. The implementation of the method overcomes the problem that the use experience of a user is affected since a traditional WiFi Display function projects a whole projection end desktop to a receiving end. Meanwhile, the humanized design of the mobile terminal can be favorably embodied.
