The network switching method comprises that when a first terminal determines that the conversation process of a second terminal needs to be changed from the first network to the second network, the same conversation data is sent to the second terminal via the first network and the second network simultaneously; an IP multimedia subsystem, to which the second terminal belongs, receives the conversation data sent from the first terminal, and back feeds data synchronization information to a base station; the base station determines whether the conversation data is synchronized according to the data synchronization information, and if not, the data synchronization information is sent to an access point; according to the data synchronization information, the access point and/or the base station adjust(s) transmission resource distributed to the first terminal, so that the conversation data, which is sent from the first terminal to the second terminal via the first network and the second network, is synchronized; and when the base station determines that the data synchronization information is synchronized, the first terminal is notified to disconnect from a network entity of the first network, and network switching is completed.
