Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a file transmission method and mobile terminals. The mobile terminal used for transmitting files acts as a transmitting end, and the mobile terminal used for receiving the files acts as a receiving end. Communication connection is established between the transmitting end and the receiving end. The method comprises the steps that the transmitting end acquires first biological characteristic information; the transmitting end transmits a first identity inquiring instruction to the receiving end, and the first identity inquiring instruction includes the first biological characteristic information so that the receiving end is enabled to acquire second biological characteristic information according to the first identity inquiring instruction and the receiving end is enabled to detect matching of the first biological characteristic information and the second biological characteristic information; if the first biological characteristic information and the second biological characteristic information are matched, the transmitting end receives identity confirmation success information transmitted by the receiving end; and the transmitting end transmits the files to be transmitted to the receiving end according to the identity confirmation success information. With application of the file transmission method and the mobile terminals, reliability of file transmission can be enhanced by performing identity authentication of the receiving end.
