Abstract

The invention discloses an updating method of hybrid application. The hybrid application comprises modules divided based on functions; every module is respectively packaged by different containers. The method comprises: in the operating process of the hybrid application, when the updating operation of any module not being operated currently is triggered, obtaining the latest version number of the module from a server; when the latest version number is higher than a current version number, sending the current version number to the server so that the server determines the updating package corresponding to the current version number of the module, wherein the updating package is generated by a minimum incremental method; after the updating package is obtained from the server, assembling the updating package and the installation package of the current version of the module, thus obtaining the installation package of the latest version of the module; and installing the installation package of the latest version to the container for packaging the module, thus updating the module. The minimum granularity of the hybrid application is module; updating of the hybrid application is based on dynamic updating of the modules; and the normal operation of the whole hybrid application is not influenced.
