[0025] The present invention relates to estimating physiological cardiac measurements from medical images and clinical data in order to personalize a patient-specific multiphysics cardiac model. Embodiments of the invention are described herein to give a visual understanding of a method for personalizing a computational multiphysics heart model. Digital images usually consist of digital representations of one or more objects (or shapes). Digital representations of objects are generally described herein in terms of identifying and manipulating objects. Such manipulations are virtual manipulations implemented in the computer system's memory or other circuitry / hardware. Accordingly, it is to be understood that embodiments of the present invention may be implemented within a computer system using data stored within the computer system.
