Abstract

The invention discloses a roadbed deformation monitoring model device under a traffic load and an experimental method, belonging to the field of traffic engineering. According to the invention, traffic loads in different speed requirements are simulated through changing of rotation speed of a rotating wheel; the volume of traffic flow is simulated through a vertical loading device; the sedimentation of a roadbed in a model box is observed with reference to scales of the model box through photography measurement equipment. In order to facilitate observation, foundation soil is layered, color powder is laid between every two layers of foundation soil, and comparison is made according to scales on tempered glass, so as to facilitate the observation for sedimentation changes of all layers. A data acquisition unit is used for acquiring data through a soil pressure cell and an acceleration sensor that are buried in the roadbed, and the acquired data can be used for dynamic response analysis on foundation soil. According to the invention, different volumes of the traffic flow of different roads are simulated according to different loading ways and rotating speeds of the wheel, the operation is simple, convenient and practical, and the defects of indoor experimental devices for simulating the traffic load at home are overcome.
