Abstract

The invention discloses a vertex positioning method for QR code image geometric correction. The vertex positioning method concretely comprises the following steps that the edges of three position detection patterns on four boundaries of a QR code are examined respectively; the edges of the position detection patterns are positioned by utilizing a position detection pattern positioning detection method so that boundary equations of the QR code are obtained; and the intersection points of intersection of every two boundary equations are calculated so that the vertexes of four corners are obtained. According to the method, only corresponding starting point and end point pixels are required with no requirement for complete edge information of a QR code image when a position detection pattern module area is detected so that the problems which cannot be solved in the prior art that the QR code image has no obvious boundary characteristics or boundary information cannot be extracted when the environmental background is complex can be solved.
