The invention provides an energy management method and system for various energy storage systems including echelon utilization batteries. The method comprises the following steps: (1) receiving related operation data of energy storage batteries; (2) storing and managing related operation data of the energy storage batteries; (3) determining power distribution coefficients of the energy storage batteries at random; (4) calculating power values, which are distributed to an echelon utilization battery energy storage system and a lithium battery energy storage system, from total power of the energy storage batteries on the basis of an adaptive power distribution method; (5) adjusting power distribution coefficients of the energy storage batteries in real time; (6) correcting power command values of the energy storage batteries; and (7) outputting the power command values of the energy storage batteries. According to the energy management method and system for various energy storage systems including the echelon utilization batteries, the targets of preventing overcharge and over-discharge of the energy storage systems and keeping good properties of the energy storage systems are reached, so that the targets of coordination control and energy management on various energy storage battery power stations including conventional batteries and the echelon utilization batteries are achieved.
