Abstract

The invention discloses a handheld type concrete structure detector and a detection method thereof. The detector comprises a radar detection module, an electromagnetic induction detection module, a main control module and a display module which are integrated together. The radar detector module is used for transmitting radar signals and receiving radar echo signals. The electromagnetic induction detection module is used for transmitting a pulse magnetic field and receiving induction electromagnetic field signals containing target information. The main control module is used for generating a time sequence and control logic which are needed by the detector and collecting and digitalizing the radar echo signals and the induction electromagnetic field signals at the same time. The display module is used for calculating concrete structure data according to the digitalized radar echo signals and the digitalized induction electromagnetic field signals and displaying the data. The handheld type concrete structure detector is simple in structure, can be held by people though a hand to carry out detection, can distinguish steel ribs and nonmetal pipelines and can accurately obtain the depth of a target 7-30 cm in the concrete. Furthermore, the handheld type concrete structure detector is convenient to use and capable of achieving real-time display.
