Through the utilization of the method, a WIA-PA gateway can provide an XML service interface, adopts the XML to describe interaction network information between information and a client, and supports a plurality of services of service establishment, service cancelation, device list report, topology report, path selection, route change, superframe change, link change, attribute obtaining, attribute configuration and data acquisition and the like, so that an external client is allowed to obtain and configure a plurality of information of a WIA-PA network conveniently. The service method has the advantages that the WIA-PA gateway adopts the XML to describe the interaction network information between the information and the client, and the method provides a unified structure data service which is independent of a specific platform, and thus cross-platform service and distributed information processing are realized.
