The method can be suitable for a whole virtual data center (VDC) migration request, and the plurality of associated virtual machines are in the VDC migration request, can be one virtual machine, and also can be more than two associated virtual machines, so that the application range of the method is wider by being compared with a conventional migration algorithm. According to the present invention, after the successful remapping of the whole VDC migration request, a migration path is found for each virtual machine until the migration paths of all virtual machines are found, and then all virtual machines are migrated by using a uniform parallel migration strategy, so that the shutdown time and the migration time are shorter than migrating the virtual machines one by one and orderly.
