Problems solved by technology

Obviously, if there are many MSs in the network, manually configuring the site and EID prefix information on the MSs will cause a lot of workload
[0005] Moreover, if the network planning changes, the configuration of the MS in the network must also be changed accordingly, which undoubtedly increases the workload of manual configuration and is not flexible.

Embodiment Construction

[0052]In order to make the object, technical solution and advantages of the present invention clearer, the present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0053] In order to reduce the workload of manually configuring MSs, the embodiment of the present invention proposes MS configuration synchronization technology. Manually configure the EID prefix it maintains on a certain MS device (preferably, also manually configure the site it maintains), and then synchronize the configuration information to other MS devices that also need to maintain the EID prefix through the ALT network.

Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a method and device for configuring a map-server (MS) in a locator identity separation protocol (LISP) network. The method comprises the following steps: receiving user configuration information including the endpoint identifier (EID) prefix of a tunnel router connected with a first MS, and determining a synchronous MS of the first MS; and generating synchronous configuration information including the EID prefix, and transmitting the synchronous configuration information to the synchronous MS in order to execute configuration by the synchronous MS based on the EID prefix resolved from the synchronous configuration information.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of Locator Identity Separation Protocol (LISP), in particular to a mapping server configuration method and device in a LISP network. Background technique [0002] LISP is a protocol that separates location and identity. The LISP network consists of two parts, the core network and the edge network. Wherein, a routing location (Routing Locator, RLOC) is used to identify a router in a core network, and an end point identifier (Endpoint Identifiers, EID) is used to identify a terminal in an edge network. LISP realizes the separation of the core network and the edge network through the ingress tunnel router (Ingress Tunnel Router, ITR) and the egress tunnel router (Egress Tunnel Router, ETR), and realizes the mapping from EID to RLOC through the mapping server (Map-Server, MS) parse. xTR is the collective name of ITR and ETR, which means that the tunnel router has both ITR and ETR capabilities. [0003] The E...
