The method herein comprises steps of: when a bus approaches a station, determining which side (left side or right side) of the bus will pull off at the station; if the left side of the bus docks at the platform, a corresponding rocker switch which controls the left door is effective in output and a corresponding rocker switch which controls the right door is ineffective in output, wherein the left door opens when the corresponding rocker switch which controls the left door outputs an open-door signal. The method herein can prevent bus drivers from mistakenly pressing the rocker switch which corresponds to the right door and avert the opening of the right door, thus preventing traffic accidents that might be caused by passengers getting off the bus from a wrong direction and thus securing safety. The system herein includes a signal acquiring unit, a processing unit and a driving unit, wherein the signal acquiring unit includes a positioning apparatus and also rocker switches, the positioning apparatus being used for determining the condition of the vehicle approaching the station, the processing unit acting as a controller, the driving unit including an electromagnetic valve for controlling the left and the right doors, the controller being in sampled connecting with the positioning apparatus and the rocker switches and also being in controlled connection with the electromagnetic valve.
