Problems solved by technology

Due to the increasing complexity of vehicle functions, the number of ECUs (Electroni Control Units) and the amount of interactive data are gradually increasing, and the traditional single-segment CAN bus structure can no longer meet the demand
[0003] For the currently commonly used single gateway-2 network segment bus topology, although a simple network segment division has been carried out, multiple ECUs such as the engine control unit, gearbox control unit, and brake system control unit are placed on the same network. In the actual vehicle condition (such as when the vehicle is running normally), the load rate of the CAN bus may still be very high (up to 70%), which is not conducive to maintaining system stability and is also very unfavorable to the later expansion of the system

Abstract

The invention discloses a CAN network topology structure of a vehicle and the vehicle using the same. The CAN network topology structure of the vehicle comprises an engine CAN network segment, a chassis CAN network segment and a vehicle body CAN network segment, wherein nodes of the engine CAN network segment comprise an engine control unit and a whole vehicle control unit; nodes of the chassis CAN network segment comprise the whole vehicle control unit and a vehicle body control unit; and nodes of the vehicle body CAN network segment comprise the vehicle body control unit. The whole vehicle control unit is a gateway used for connecting the engine CAN network segment and the chassis CAN network segment. The vehicle body control unit is a gateway used for connecting the chassis CAN network segment and the vehicle body CAN network segment. The CAN network topology structure further comprises a private CAN network segment. By adopting the CAN network topology structure of the vehicle, the load rate of a CAN bus of the vehicle is reduced, and the expandability of the whole network is enhanced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of vehicle control, in particular to a vehicle CAN network topology and a vehicle using the topology. Background technique [0002] Controller Area Network (that is, Controller Area Network, referred to as CAN) is widely used in the field of vehicle control. Due to the increasing functional complexity of the vehicle, the number of ECUs (Electroni Control Units) and the amount of interactive data are gradually increasing, and the traditional single-segment CAN bus structure can no longer meet the demand. [0003] For the currently commonly used single gateway-2 network segment bus topology, although a simple network segment division has been carried out, multiple ECUs such as the engine control unit, gearbox control unit, and brake system control unit are placed on the same network. In this section, the load rate of the CAN bus may still be very high (up to 70%) under actual vehicle conditions (such as when the vehicl...
