Problems solved by technology

However, the production cost of breeding bees with small eggs is much higher than that of breeding bees with large eggs. Taking rice moth eggs to breed Trichogramma rice borer as an example, the price of 10,000 bees is about 30 yuan, which greatly limits its large-scale application.

[0011] Mixed release of Trichogramma with large and small eggs for breeding and controlling rice stem borer

[0012] 1 Materials and methods

[0013] 1.1 Tested bee species

[0014] Tussah silkworm eggs breed Trichogramma pine caterpillar and Trichogramma borer; rice moth eggs breed Trichogramma rice borer.

[0015] 1.2 Test site

[0016] Wanchang Town, Yongji County, Jilin Province.

[0017] 1.3 Field test treatment

[0018] From June 10, sex attractants were used to monitor the occurrence dynamics of rice stem borer, and a mixed release test of Trichogramma with large and small eggs was carried out at the early stage of egg laying of rice stem borer. The test treatments include: (1) 8000 Trichogramma pine caterpillars (TD) + 2000 Trichogramma rice borer (TJ), 2000 heads / mu, once every 5 days, releasing bees once and 3 times at intervals of 5 days, and the control area is 25 mu ; (2) 8000 Trichogramma (TC) + TJ 2000 heads / mu, time, release bee once every 5 days, releas...

[0026] Mixed Release of Trichogramma with Large and Small Eggs Breeding to Control Soybean Borter

[0027] 1 Materials and methods

[0028] 1.1 Tested bee species

[0029] Tussah silkworm eggs breed Trichogramma borer; rice moth eggs breed Trichogramma corn borer and Trichogramma armyworm.

[0032] 1.3 Field test treatment

[0033] From July 10, sexual attractants were used to monitor the occurrence of soybean borer, and the release control test of Trichogramma was carried out at the early stage of soybean borer's oviposition. The experimental treatments include: (1) 8000 Trichogramma spp (TC) + 2000 Trichogramma corn borer (TO), 2000 Trichogramma per mu, once, 5 days apart, releasing bees 1 time, 4 times, control area 5 mu ; (2) 8,000 Trichogrammas (TC) + 2,000 Trichogrammas (TL) 2,000 heads / mu, once every 5 days, release bees once and 4 times a...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for releasing trichogrammas bred in big and small eggs in a hybrid manner to prevent and control insect pests; according to the different varieties of insect pests, at the egg laying initial stage of the insect pests, the trichogrammas bred in big eggs and the trichogrammas bred in small eggs are released in the hybrid manner according to the ratio of (3-5):1, the trichogrammas are released for one time at each 5-7 days and are released for 3-4 times continuously; the trichogrammas bred in big eggs are trichogramma dendrolimi or trichogramma chilonis bred in eggs of oak silkworm; the trichogrammas bred in small eggs are trichogramma japonicum, trichogramma ostriniae and armyworm trichogrammas bred in rice moth eggs or sitotroga cerealella olivier eggs. Through releasing trichogrammas bred in big and small eggs in the hybrid manner, the prevention and control costs are reduced greatly under the precondition that the prevention and control effects are guaranteed; the mass development and application of trichogrammas on prevention and control of the agriculture and forestry insect pests are benefited, the usage of chemical pesticide can be reduced greatly, so the method is very important for human health and preservation of the ecological environment.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a technical method for breeding Trichogramma by using large and small eggs to mix release and control pests, and belongs to the technical field of biological control of agricultural pests. Background technique [0002] Trichogramma is the most widely used natural enemy insect with the largest application area in the world. Many species have been successfully multiplied and released for the control of Lepidoptera pests. The mass reproduction of the Trichogramma population is mainly carried out by using intermediate host eggs. At present, the intermediate host eggs used for mass breeding of Trichogramma mainly include "big eggs" and "small eggs". Large eggs refer to the fact that many (≥3) Trichogramma eggs can be parasitized in one egg and can breed multi-headed wasps. At present, the large eggs used in China mainly refer to tussah eggs, and one tussah egg can breed about 65~90 Trichogramma head. Small eggs mean that 1-2 Tric...
