Abstract

The invention discloses a bamboo softening and modifying technology. The bamboo softening and modifying technology comprises the following steps: (1) cleaning bamboo, cutting into segments, and putting the segments into an industrial microwave oven for microwave treatment; (2) putting the bamboo segments after the microwave treatment into a mould-proof and mothproof liquid, soaking for 3-5 minutes, taking out, and draining off; and (3) baking the bamboo segments treated in the step (2) at 35-45 DEG C for 20-30 hours, then heating to 60-70 DEG C, drying for 50-60 hours, finally cooling to 50-60 DEG C and keeping the temperature for 5-10 hours. According to the technology, the bamboo is prevented from being treated by a chemical agent; the bamboo softening and modifying technology is short in treatment time, is low in production cost, and is relatively environmentally friendly; the modified bamboo is good in mould-proof and mothproof properties, is relatively soft and tough, and is difficult to crack and deform.
