Abstract

The invention discloses composition for preventing and treating puerperal endometritis of a sow and an application of the composition. The composition comprises components as follows: resveratrol, vitamin C as well as carriers and essence which are permitted for a feed additive; the composition is taken as the feed additive and used for the sow in the period from 7 days before delivery and 7 days after delivery, can remarkably inhibit synthesis and secretion of neutrophil chemotactic factors induced by local pathogenic bacteria of endometria and can reduce the occurrence rate of endometritis. The composition is convenient to add and takes effect rapidly, and toxic and side effects and drug resistance caused by antibiotics are completely avoided.
