Abstract

The invention provides a longitudinal and transverse wave ray parameter domain joint inversion method. According to the method, longitudinal wave and converted wave prestack gather data are converted and placed in a ray parameter domain, and a formation elastic parameter is obtained by carrying out inversion on change information of ray parameters along with seismic amplitude, so that lithology and fluids are predicted. The method adopts joint inversion of properties at the same point; longitudinal wave and converted wave come from the same incident path; although the reflected paths of the longitudinal wave and the converted wave are separated from each other, the reflected paths have the same depth and come from the same reflection point; the connection among parameters are closer, so that a more reliable formation elastic parameter can be obtained, and the accuracy of gas prediction by using the longitudinal and transverse wave seismic data is improved.
