Abstract

The handheld electronic device comprises the components of: a connecting interface which is provided with a first pin, a second pin and a third pin, wherein the first pin is used for transmitting first loudspeaker signals, and the second pin is used for transmitting second loudspeaker signals; a first impedance unit which is electrically connected between the second pin and power voltage; a second impedance unit which is electrically connected between the second pin and a reference level; a voltage supply unit which is electrically connected with the third pin; and a fundamental frequency circuit which is electrically connected with the second pin, the third pin and the voltage supply unit, and is used for determining whether an earphone is electrically connected with the connecting interface according to voltage change on the second pin. The handheld electronic device according to the invention can identify type of the earphone and furthermore can provide an operating power supply which is required by an anti-noise circuit of the anti-noise earphone. Furthermore the anti-noise earphone of the invention does not require any battery.
