Abstract

The invention provides a use method of a feed additive containing an indigowoad leaf extract. The method is characterized in that the feed additive is added into a pig feed in the mass ratio of 7:1000 for pig feeding; the feed additive is added into a chicken feed in the mass ratio of 2:1000 for chicken feeding; and the feed additive is added into a fish feed in the mass ratio of 1:1000 for fish feeding. The additive comprises 12.5-20 parts of the indigowoad leaf extract, 5-20 parts of whey protein, and the balance being trace elements and a diluent, wherein the total weight of the trace elements and the diluent is 1-1.5 times the total weight of the indigowoad leaf extract and the whey protein. Through use of the feed additive, the immunity can be enhanced, and the appetite is increased. The indigowoad leaf extract contains alkaloids, saponins, polysaccharides, various enzymes and coenzymes. A hormone axis is regulated and controlled in a multilayer manner through combined actions of various active components on a neuroendocrine system, so that the secretion of 'endogenous hormones' is promoted, and a stable and durable growth promoting effect is achieved.
