An upper structure of the shield building is enclosed to form a chimney space 7 in a funnel shape with a large upper part and a small lower part, and the upper part of the chimney space is a vertical inner wall 19 while the lower part thereof is an inclined inner wall 10; an annular air supply slit for performing forced ventilation to the chimney space is provided at a lower edge of the inclined inner wall of the chimney space, and a flow passage of the annular air supply slit gradually becomes wider from an air supply outlet to inward until the annular air supply slit is connected with an air supply buffer space.
