Abstract

The invention discloses a method for evaluating the smoke volume of electronic cigarettes. The method comprises the following steps of (1) measurement, namely sucking the electronic cigarettes, and measuring the particle size distribution and the number of aerosol particles in the generated smoke; and measuring the volume flow rate C and the detection time t of aerosol; (2) data processing, namely dividing classifying diameters di of the aerosol particulate matters according to the particle size distribution and the number of the aerosol particles, and calculating the average concentration n of the aerosol particulate matters corresponding to the di; and (3) calculating the volume of the generated smoke according to a smoke volume calculation formula.
