Abstract

The invention relates to a side-group long-chain azidated epoxy resin and a synthesis technique thereof. By controlling the addition amount of azide, reaction temperature, reaction time and other conditions, the long-chain azido group is grafted on the hydroxy group of the epoxy resin to prepare the side-group long-chain azido epoxy resin. The azido group can form strong coordinate bond with the metal atoms of the substrate, thereby effectively enhancing the adhesive force of the coating for the metal substrate. Meanwhile, the side-group long chain has high hydrophobic action, and thus, is capable of effectively eliminating the water content on the substrate surface in the curing process and enhancing the adhesive force of the coating on the wet metal substrate surface by 90% or so. The side-group long-chain azidated epoxy resin can be used for developing the anticorrosive paint for wet metal substrate surfaces with higher adhesive force, better shielding performance and long effective period, and can provide an effective technical way for development of underwater construction anticorrosive paints.
