The traditional Chinese medicine composition is prepared from the following bulk drugs by weight: 13 to 17 parts of fruit of Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim, 10 to 14 parts of arctium fruit, 7 to 11 parts of Chinese thorowax root, 28 to 32 parts of dandelion, 10 to 14 parts of beautiful sweetgum fruit, 10 to 14 parts of vegetable sponge of luffa, 13 to 17 parts of uniflower swisscentaury root, 7 to 11 parts of cluster mallow fruit, 10 to 14 parts of perilla stalk, 13 to 17 parts of corydalis tuber, 10 to 14 parts of red peony root, 10 to 14 parts of cowherb seed, 13 to 17 parts of common selfheal fruit-spike, 2 to 4 parts of common rush, 4 to 8 parts of tangerine leaf and 4 to 8 parts of tangerine seed. The invention further provides application of the traditional Chinese medicine composition. Bulk drugs of the composition are compatible, and the composition is capable of clearing heat, cooling the blood, freeing the channels, promoting milk ejection, eliminating inflammations and removing pus and can directly reach focuses to heal acute mastitis.
