Embodiment Construction

[0082] A number of implementations of the present invention will be disclosed below with the accompanying drawings. For the sake of clarity, many practical details will be described together in the following description. It should be understood, however, that these practical details should not be used to limit the invention. That is, in some embodiments of the present invention, these practical details are unnecessary. In addition, for the sake of simplifying the drawings, some conventional structures and elements will be shown in a simple and schematic way in the drawings.

Abstract

The invention provides a multi-view display, including a light source module, a first cylindrical lens array, a display module, and a second cylindrical lens array. The light source module provides a plurality of light rays in a timing order. The first cylindrical lens array is arranged above the light source module, and used for guiding the light rays of the light source module to advance in multiple directions. The display module is arranged in front of the first cylindrical lens array, and used for converting the light rays from the first cylindrical lens array into a plurality of pixel light rays. The second cylindrical lens array is arranged in front of the display module, and used for guiding the pixel light rays to multiple views. According to the invention, the multi-view display is additionally provided with a view that can be generated within one period of the multi-view display, so that the drop in the resolution during increase of the number of views is reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a multi-view display, in particular to a naked-eye identifiable multi-view display. Background technique [0002] Because the positions of the left eye and the right eye are different, there are subtle differences in the scenes observed by each. This difference is the root cause of the three-dimensional effect. 3D stereoscopic TV uses the visual characteristics of the eyes to generate the three-dimensional effect. [0003] The traditional way to achieve stereoscopic effect is to use the spatial multiplexing method, that is, the pixels on the screen are assigned multiple view information, and the light-splitting effect of the lens converges at the viewing distance to generate multiple views. The latter corresponds to two of the fields of view, so that the two eyes correspond to different images to achieve a 3D visual effect [0004] There are many ways to design stereoscopic 3D TV, but in any case, when distributing pixels to m...
